JBP Plays At Potbelly in Harrisonburg Virginia and CaveFest

Hey there everybody. It’s been a while since I’ve updated this website. I have needed a little break and have been focusing on my own musical projects. Mainly, I have been playing at Potbelly Sandwich shop in Harrisonburg Virginia Monday through Friday for lunch. That’s mostly from 11:30 to 1:30 but sometimes 12 to 2. This has been my main gig and focusing on playing my own music has given me a new lease on life. While, I still love going to live music and reporting to all of you on the best live shows in the area. I have needed to take a step back for my mental health, my physical health and my wallet. There is not a lot of money in music journalism, and I really pushed hard to find a full-time journalism job. This did not Happen , so I have had to shift focus and I hope that you all understand why I have not been posting as much on jambandpurist.com 
Anyway, I wanted to share all of you this great news and if you’re ever in the area, please stop by and see me. My band Love Dawg is also playing this weekend at Cave Fest in McGaheysville, Virginia. Like I said, it’s been a very busy few months, focusing on my own musical projects. I’m sure there will be more coming soon but please let me know what you think and love to all readers out there!
